Morphy Chess — Support
Something broken, something confusing, or an idea for the game — write to us.
Email supportWe read everything and usually reply within a few days. If you are writing about a bug, telling us your device and what you were doing when it happened saves a lot of back and forth.
Common questions
I lost my progress. Can I get it back?
If you signed in with Apple or Google, sign in again on the new device and your save comes back. If you never signed in, the save lives only on the original device — which is exactly why signing in is worth the thirty seconds. Write to us either way and we will look.
I bought coins and did not get them.
Try Restore Purchases in Settings first. If the balance is still wrong, email us with the receipt from Apple or Google and we will sort it out.
Why does Restore Purchases say there is nothing to restore?
Everything Morphy Chess sells is consumable — coins are spent, not owned — and Apple does not restore consumable purchases. Restore only recovers a linked account. If coins are genuinely missing, email us.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Save Progress → Delete Account. This erases your save, your purchase records, and your leaderboard entry from our servers, and cannot be undone. It works whether or not you signed in.
What was that tracking prompt when I first opened the game?
It asks whether we may see which ad brought you to the game. Saying no changes nothing about how the game plays — nothing is locked or slowed. There is more detail in the privacy policy.
Do I have to sign in to play?
No. The whole game is playable without an account. Signing in only protects your save and puts you on the leaderboard.
